Comme nous avions du temps pour y aller, nous avons fait une halte dans le Marais Poitevin avant d’arriver en Bretagne. 

Notre route passait par Chalus, lieu de mort de Richard Cœur de Lion.  Pas grand-chose à voir maintenant, mais intéressant pour ceux (plutôt celles) qui aime l’histoire.

Puis, déjeuner a Confolens. 

We had lot of time to get there, so we decided to stop in the Marais Poitevin before Brittany.

We went by Chalus on the way, where Richard the Lionheart died.  Nothing much to see, but interesting for those of us who like history.  Then, lunch in Confolens.

Hôtel Mère Michelet.  Comme dans le bon vieux temps.  Menu 17 Euros. Like the good old days, 17 euros for the meal.
