Le 16 décembre. Le Vignoble de Waterford. The vineyard at Waterford

Toujours des vignobles à découvrir.  Nous nous sommes perdus un peu dans les montagnes mais nous avons fini par trouver, premièrement Dornier (où nous avons regardé les chais) et puis Waterford, pour une dégustation.  Encore un vignoble où des gens ont beaucoup dépensé, mais il faut quelques années de plus avant que tout soit mur.  Quand même, beau.  Nous avons acheté un peu de vin.  Pas notre vignoble préféré.

Always looking for new vineyards, we went off to see two we hadn’t been to before. Got a bit lost and wandered around the mountains, but eventually we found Dornier, where we had a walk around, but didn’t bother tasting.  Then on to Waterford, right next door – yet another Stellenbosch vineyard where lots of money has been spent.  Still needs a few years too mature, but still pretty nice.  We bought a few bottles, but not one of our favourites.
