1re juillet. 1st July. Dans le bois. In the woods

Quand on a acheté notre maison en 1990, on avait très peu de terrain. Depuis, on a ajouté plusieurs parcelles, y inclus 2 dans le bois, à plusieurs centaines de mètres de la maison.  Pendant des années on n’était même pas sur où était ‘notre’ terrain.  Récemment Harry l’a trouvé – et il est très beau !

When we bought our house we had very little land.  Over the years we’ve added to it, including two patches in the woods several hundred metres from the house.  For a long time we weren’t even really sure where it was – there are no roads, just winding paths.  Recently Harry went out with the plans and found it – really quite beautiful.
