Fête de la St Jean 25 juin– Feast of St John the Baptist

A traditional French festivity, mainly for the young, but the rest of us are allowed.  Originally they would have lit the bonfire, and eventually jumped over the embers .  I doubt that this happened, given the size of the bonfire!
