30 janvier - Broken Hill, Adelaide

On passe par les Montagnes Bleus, et samedi matin le train s’arrête à Broken Hill notre première vue de l’’Outback.’  Pas encore sauvage – il y a toujours des tricoteuses à la gare !   des édifices intéressants, et un magasin de souvenirs avec un peu de tout – kangourou, drapeau, boomerang

 We went through the Blue Mountains and Saturday morning the train stopped at Broken Hill, our first experience of ‘The Outback.’  Not terribly wild yet – knitters who meet every train, the ubiquitous Australian hotel, and a souvenir shop with a little of everything – Kangaroo, boomerang, flag, even a blue tongued lizard.
